West texas is known for having some of the most extreme terrain in the state, and with that terrain comes great hunting. species like elk, aoudad, bighorn, and mule deer flourish here, seeking cover in the numerous mountain ranges throughout the region and providing hunters with a challenging yet rewarding hunting experience.
We're drawn back to this region every year for the breathtaking views, seemlingly endless starry skies, and the great hunting experiences that keep us and other hunters hooked year after year. ABOUT OUR west texas HUNTS
West texas is known for its wide open spaces and towering mountains, and our hunts feature both. These hunts also tend to be more physically demanding than our hill country hunts. typically you can expect to do a good deal of hiking, 3-4 miles, and spend more time glassing due to the typically larger country we cover on these hunts. Depending on the time of year, it can be extremely hot during the day, or very cold at night, so be sure to pack accordingly.
